Your day-to-day will involve:
- Designing Dynamic Lessons: Create daily plans that are standard-aligned but creativity-driven, focusing on measurable student success.
- Tech-Forward Teaching: Leverage school-provided technology to keep the curriculum modern and engaging.
- Building Community: Foster cooperative relationships with parents and staff while contributing to the vibrant life of our school outside the classroom.
- Faith in Action: Maintain a classroom environment that reflects the values and inclusivity of the Catholic faith.
Requirements
The Essentials:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree.
- Certification: A Teaching Credential (or current enrollment in a credential program).
- Expertise: A deep understanding of mathematics and a passion for Middle School education.
The “Extra Mile” (Preferred):
- A practicing Catholic who can lead by example in our faith community.
- A Master’s Degree (or current enrollment in a Master’s program).
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
