Description
Saint Paschal Baylon School is looking for a part-time middle school mathematics teacher beginning the 2025-2026 school year. Dependent on the candidate, there is a possibility for additional duties to create a full-time position. All applicants should be well versed in Catholicism, energetic, a team player, comfortable with the integration of technology and instruction, and contain a strong desire to work in a faith-based community. Candidates for this position must possess strong classroom management skills, the ability to both short and long-term plan, experience in using assessments and analyzing data to drive curriculum, as well as creative and enthusiastic instruction. In addition, teachers at this school are expected to be proactive communicators, comfortable with differentiation of instruction within the classroom, and overall, create a nurturing classroom environment.
Requirements
- B.A./B.S.
- California Mathematics Single Subject Teaching Credential, or a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
- M.A. Preferred
- Minimum two years teaching experience at the middle school or high school level
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
