American Martyrs School, a Catholic parish school united with our Catholic community, celebrates the unique gifts of every person and fosters life-long faith, academic excellence, and an inner drive to serve others. AMS is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative middle school Humanities teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position calls for a background in Literature, Language Arts, and Social Studies and the ability to create thematic units encompassing the standards for each subject. The ideal candidate would be comfortable planning and developing lesson plans and assessments with a partner teacher and participating in various school activities.
Requirements
Practicing Roman Catholic; Single Subject or Multiple Subject credential; 3 or more years of teaching experience; Knowledge of current trends in elementary education; and experience supporting lessons through technology.
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
