Job Overview:
The Marketing and Admissions Director is responsible for advancing the Catholic high school’s mission by increasing student enrollment, strengthening brand awareness, and fostering a welcoming community for prospective families. This role collaborates closely with the Development Director to ensure marketing strategies and communication efforts align with development initiatives, creating a unified message to engage families, alumni, and donors.

Key Responsibilities-

Admissions and Enrollment Management

  • Develop and implement an annual admissions plan to attract and retain mission-aligned students and families.
  • Manage the admissions process, including inquiries, tours, applications, and enrollment.
  • Coordinate student shadow days, open houses, and orientation programs.
  • Analyze enrollment trends and develop strategies to increase enrollment year-over-year.

Marketing and Brand Awareness

  • Create and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to promote the school’s Catholic identity and unique educational offerings.
  • Manage the school’s website, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and reflective of the school’s mission.
  • Oversee social media accounts to build a consistent and positive online presence.
  • Design marketing materials (brochures, advertisements, newsletters) that support admissions and fundraising goals.

Collaboration with Development

  • Partner with the Development Director to ensure marketing efforts support fundraising campaigns and donor engagement.
  • Align messaging and branding for development initiatives, including annual fund appeals, capital campaigns, and donor recognition.
  • Collaborate on events that combine admissions and development goals, such as alumni reunions or family-focused fundraisers.
  • Share insights on prospective families’ interests and priorities to inform targeted fundraising efforts.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build relationships with feeder schools, parish communities, and local organizations to strengthen enrollment pipelines.
  • Act as a liaison between prospective families and school leadership, fostering a welcoming and faith-filled admissions experience.
  • Work with faculty, staff, and student ambassadors to create a culture of hospitality during tours and events.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Track and analyze metrics related to marketing efforts, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and admissions inquiries.
  • Provide regular reports on enrollment trends and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Development Director to evaluate the success of shared initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, admissions, or communications, ideally within a Catholic school or nonprofit.
  • Familiarity with Catholic traditions and the mission of Catholic education.

Skills:

  • Strong writing and editing skills for print and digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
  • Experience with enrollment management systems (e.g., Blackbaud, FACTS) and CRM tools.
    Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
