Holy Spirit STEM Academy fosters academic excellence and spiritual growth in a nurturing, faith-filled environment for students in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. We are seeking a dynamic, professional, and compassionate Long-Term Substitute Teacher to serve in a lower elementary classroom for the 2025–2026 school year.
The successful applicant will:
- Create and maintain a safe, organized, and respectful classroom environment
- Design and implement student-centered, standards-based lessons aligned with school goals and curriculum
- Use data-driven instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and encourage academic growth
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and families
- Model Catholic values and integrate faith into daily classroom life
- Inspire students to embody our core values: Love of God, Love of Others, and Love of Self
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited university or college (Preferred)
- California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or a Master’s degree in an education-related field (Preferred)
- Prior classroom teaching experience
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
