Description
A Catholic elementary school is seeking a long-term substitute teacher to teach Middle School ELA and Religion beginning mid-to-late May through the end of the school year (mid-June).
Position Responsibilities
- Teach middle school students in ELA and Religion.
- Plan lessons, assess student learning, and enter grades
- Maintain a structured, positive, and faith-centered classroom
- Serve as a positive role model consistent with Catholic values
- Collaborate with faculty and staff as part of a team
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Active, practicing Catholic required
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS minimum)
- Enthusiastic and supportive of middle school students
- Flexible, positive, and hardworking
- Team player with strong classroom management skills

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
