Description
Sacred Heart School is located in the Antelope Valley. SHS was the first Catholic school in the high desert and is completing its 76 year educating the children from Sacred Heart Parish.
SHS is looking for a faith-filled, creative, energetic, dedicated junior high teacher to join our team. Candidate should have a willingness to work well with the junior high team. Candidate must possess well rounded knowledge and ability to teach of all junior high required subjects, especially mathematics.
Requirements
- Passing of the CBEST.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies or an educational field.
- Catechetical Certificate from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles or equivalent.
- CA State Teaching Credential is not required but preferred.
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
