Description
This position would include language arts instruction for 6th-8th grade students. The candidate would need to develop and implement ELA lessons for the different grade levels, providing a solid foundation in reading, writing, and oral expression.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Majoring in the subject area of English is preferred, but not required. Holding a California teaching credential or working toward one is also preferred. The ability to work collaboratively with a junior high team of teachers is needed for this position. Some previous teaching/classroom experience is recommended.
