Description
Notre Dame Academy Elementary School, a TK-8th grade co-ed school located in West L.A., is seeking a collaborative, innovative, and passionate instructional aide for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate should have a passion for education, be a recent graduate or enrolled in a credential program, and a willingness to learn from the lead teacher.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with a differentiated curriculum that is data-based and aligned with California state standards.
- Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes the development of social-emotional skills, Habits of Mind, and critical thinking.
- Have experience working with students inside and outside of the classroom on the yard
- Communicate effectively and take initiative
- Work with a diverse population of students with a culturally competent teaching lens

Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in some capacity (camp counselor, tutoring etc.)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to be a learner and anticipate needs
- Technology skills and ability to integrate technology into the instructional experiences
Preferred:
- Enrolled in teaching credential program or recent graduate
- Active Catholic

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
