Description
Seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual for a full-time instructional aide for primary classrooms for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year with the possibility of future employment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable assisting in all areas of curriculum and working with whole groups, small groups, and individual students as needed. The instructional aide will also collaborate with the homeroom teachers to discuss planning for students and in time, assist with teaching duties. A flexible demeanor and willingness to adapt to school schedule changes, special events, and celebration is essential. The ideal candidate is a team player who works collaboratively with the teaching teams and administration to integrate the Common Core State Standards into the curriculum. The individual should be comfortable with technology. They will work collaboratively with the faculty and the administration and have strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to develop and foster positive relationships with students, faculty, and parents and strong community building skills are essential. The ideal candidate must be able to supervise students effectively, both in and out of the classroom, support and follow procedures, as well as, develop effective classroom procedures and management. Technology skills and ability to work with SmartBoard, ipads/tablets, and websites to assist in creating and integrating curriculum into everyday lessons is preferred.
Requirements
- The Candidate will have a high school degree minimum
- A candidate with a B.A. and/or teaching experience is preferred

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
