Description
Visitation School is a very energetic and vibrant community located in Westchester and is seeking a dedicated, hard-working, and experienced Guidance Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year. The guidance counselor will work directly with students to provide social and emotional support. Additional school site responsibilities include STEP Program Coordinator and working with teachers as part of the overall student support team. All applicants should be energetic, a team player and have desire to work in a true community school.
In addition, staff members at this school are expected to be proactive communicators and create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements
MA degree in Counseling. Preference given to candidates with PPS Credential and those who have already completed supervised internship hours.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
