Description
Louisville High School is seeking a Girls Varsity Head Volleyball Coach. This position is responsible for leading the volleyball program, shaping its culture, and supporting the development of student‑athletes. The Head Coach will oversee all aspects of coaching, including athlete development, practice planning, game strategy, staff coordination, and program communication. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering a positive and competitive environment for our athletes.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.
- Previous coaching experience at the high school level or other applicable coaching experience.
- Current club coaching experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with athletic administrators, parents, and students.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with athletic participants.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making; be an effective problem solver and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
