Description
Our Lady of Guadalupe School, nestled in the hills of Hermosa Beach, CA is seeking a full-time homeroom/upper grade (Grades 5-8) Mathematics teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate is committed to modeling their Catholic faith in word and action and eager to work in a highly collaborative environment. Candidates must be student-centered, possess strong communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to effectively differentiate instruction, use educational technology, and data to inform their teaching.
Requirements
- A practicing Catholic in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church
- Possess a valid CA Teaching Credential and/or a master’s degree in education or other relevant field
- CPR/AED Trained
- Virtus Training
- LiveScan Fingerprinting
- Participate in ongoing Catechetical Formation
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
