Maria Regina School seeks a passionate, dynamic, and faith-filled 1st-grade teacher to join our dedicated and committed faculty. The teacher is responsible for fostering children’s intellectual, social, physical, and faith development.
Requirements
Job Description:
- Be comfortable teaching in a self-contained classroom, including language arts, math, social studies, science, and religion curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver practical lessons that engage and challenge students and include differentiated instruction to meet students’ diverse needs and learning styles by utilizing various instructional strategies, resources, and technology.
- Be comfortable teaching Catholicism, integrating Catholic values and teachings into your curriculum and classroom activities, and supporting our school’s mission and vision.
- Be comfortable working with interactive devices and programs to integrate technology into lessons.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student achievement and well-being.
- Keep current and complete grading and attendance records.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends and research.
- Supervise students effectively, both in and out of the classroom, support and follow procedures, and develop effective classroom procedures and management.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited university
- CA Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential (or in the process of completing it).
- Experience with early child education (teaching and program).

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
