Description
De La Salle School is seeking a caring, organized, and enthusiastic After-School Program Director to oversee our student care program. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that supports the mission and values of Catholic education while meeting the needs of our students and families.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the After-School Program
- Provide a safe, structured, and welcoming environment for students in TK–8th grade
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, games, and homework support
- Maintain student attendance and sign-in/sign-out procedures
- Communicate effectively with parents and school administration
- Supervise program staff
- Foster positive student behavior and meaningful relationships with students and families
- Track and record student attendance hours for billing purposes
- Prepare and manage monthly billing statements for families
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding attendance, payments, and program expectations
- Ensure compliance with school policies and safety procedures
- Collaborate with school administration regarding program operations, enrollment, and family accounts
Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 2:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 12:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or recreation setting
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to supervise and engage groups of students
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- VIRTUS trained and fingerprinted (or willing to complete requirements)
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
