Description
Visitation Catholic school in Westchester seeks an enthusiastic teacher to teach in the elementary grades. We are looking for someone who is committed to excellence and would like to join our team of hard-working and dedicated educators. This position is for a teacher who can teach all core subjects in a self-contained classroom and can provide a rich, engaging and Catholic environment for our learners.
We seek a teacher to be part of a team who:

-is familiar with Google Classroom and technology.
-is a team player and demonstrates successful collaboration with teachers/staff and parents.

Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Preference given to those candidates with MA or credential
-Prior teacher experience in elementary grades preferred
-Committed to Catholic Education
-Proficient with educational technology
-Effective classroom management skills

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
