Description
St. Rose of Lima School is seeking Elementary school teachers for the 2021-2022 school year. An educator that is focused on creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and centered on faith and respect. The candidate should guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals by establishing clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects. The candidate must ensure engaging and effective instructional methods and materials are utilized when developing standards/skill-based lessons. The candidate should be familiar with evaluating data to monitor student learning and growth. Also, the candidate should strongly desire to be part of a faculty/school team who have a love of learning and great respect for their vocation. The candidate will be expected to counsel with administration, colleagues, students, and/or parents on a regular basis as well as assist the administration in implementing all policies and/or rules governing student life and conduct, and for the classroom, develop reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintain order in the classroom in a fair and just manner.
Requirements
-Knowledge with Core Instructional Practices (CIP)
-Research-Based Teaching Methods
-Minimum of two years experience teaching
-Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
-Credential and/or Master’s Degree
-Practicing Catholic
-Ability to teach using technology
