St. Genevieve High School is looking for a dynamic & innovative educator that structures empowering opportunities for students to find their voice through Digital Video Production.
Job responsibilities include the following:
Broadcast Journalism
- Teaching students how to run the morning broadcast show from a technical and visual standpoint.
- Setting up structures in a Broadcast Journalism Class, that allows students to act as “reporters” at various school events.
- Holding students to a high standard of achievement
Digital Video Production
- Build students content knowledge and confidence as they produce increasingly technically proficient and engaging coverage of school events and student led projects
Pay: Position is open to being part-time or full-time.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field is required. Master’s and/or Credential and/or prior teaching experience highly desired.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
