St. Hilary School is seeking an energetic, caring, and dependable After-School Program Leader to join our vibrant Pico Rivera campus! Guided by our commitment to faith, character, and whole-child development, our after-school team plays a vital role in keeping our TK–8th grade students safe, engaged, and supported after the bell rings. Key Responsibilities
- Provide active homework assistance and academic support to students in grades TK–8.
- Supervise indoor activities and outdoor play on the playground, ensuring student safety at all times.
- Facilitate engaging recreational games, crafts, and group activities.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and nurturing environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and colleagues.
Hours: Monday – Thursday (3:15 PM – 6:00 PM) | Friday (12:30 PM – 6:00 PM)
Position Type: Part-Time
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience supervising or working with children in grades TK–8th.
- Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
- Clearances: Must be fingerprinted and background-checked through the Archdiocese of Los Angeles (or willing to complete the process before starting employment).
- Skills: High energy, strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
