Description
Transfiguration School is seeking a full-time or part-time administrative assistant to assist the principal, faculty and students of the school.
A qualified candidate supports the school administration and also meets the following criteria:
Ability to coordinate and organize activities; answer and route phone calls; greet visitors and maintain safety protocols when welcoming visitors to campus.
Communicate with the principal, students, staff, visitors and guests in a respectful manner at all times
Responds to requests for records, forms and responds to parental concerns
Composes, types and edits a variety of documents, including emails and letters
Meets deadlines
Completes various school reports while meeting deadlines
Ordering and maintaining school supplies and inventory levels
Enroll, register and maintain all student records including cumulative, health and financial records
Coordinates school events, schedules, calendar in collaboration with the administration and school staff
Flexibility to complete assigned tasks with frequent interruptions
Requirements
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which on occasion may include extended hours and some weekends. Typical schedule: 7am-4pm
Physical abilities include: standing, sitting frequently for long periods, and lifting 10-20 pounds
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher)
Data entry, filing, copying, organizing materials and receipts
Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality

Minimum requirement: Proof of HS Graduation, BA preferred
Wage Range
$17-$25 per hour
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
