Description
Saint Genevieve Parish Schools is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and technologically skilled professional to serve as an administrative assistant. The Administrative Assistant supports the mission of Catholic education by modeling Gospel values, fostering a positive school climate, and contributing to a respectful and faith-filled community. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to supporting a faith-centered educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the principal, administrative team, and faculty
- Manage school calendars, schedules, and meeting logistics (in-person and virtual)
- Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, bulletins, newsletters, and school communications
- Maintain accurate and confidential student, staff, and school records and assist with data entry when needed
- Organize and manage digital and physical filing systems with exceptional attention to detail
- Support school operations using technology to improve efficiency and communication
- Coordinate logistics for school events, meetings, and faith-based activities
- Communicate professionally with families while modeling the values of respect, service, and hospitality
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of computer and technology proficiency, including
- School information systems or the ability to learn them quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
