Incarnation Parish School is a Pre-K to 8th elementary school serving the parishioners of Incarnation Church, the City of Glendale, and the foothill communities.

Incarnation Parish School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fifth Grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.

Incarnation’s mission is to provide a challenging education centered in the Catholic faith with high expectations in character formation, academic achievement, moral development, and positive relationships with others through faith, excellence, and community.

The ideal candidate shares the school’s mission and core beliefs; utilizes core instructional practices to implement a rigorous standardized curriculum; reflects on formative and summative data to guide instruction and student supports; effectively communicates with parents and collaborates with teachers and administrators; creatively integrates technology into the curriculum; and is dedicated to the pastoral values and evangelical mission of the Church.

The Fifth Grade teacher at Incarnation is primarily responsible for facilitating learning in 4 core subjects (Math, ELA, Religion, and Social Studies). The Fifth Grade teacher works with other teachers to ensure students’ learning needs are met. Art, music, PE, Spanish, Science, Library and Computers are taught by dedicated specialized teachers in collaboration with the Fifth Grade teacher.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
Teaching Credential (preferred)
Elementary School Experience and Master’s Degree (preferred)
Completed Catechetical Certification (preferred)
Working knowledge of Gradelink, STAR, G-Suite for Education, and IXL (preferred)

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
