Description
Our Lady of Peace is seeking a dynamic, energetic teacher for a combined class of 3rd and 4th graders. There will be approximately 15 students. Strong instructional and lesson design skills are necessary. CIP model is a plus! OLP is located within the boundaries of North Hills. Students and parents are very supportive. Students need to be challenged to work at grade level and beyond. Literacy is a focus. Teachers are expected to help support increased enrollment and spread school spirit. This is a very congenial community.
Requirements
BA degree
M.ED in an academic area is a plus!
Spanish is a plus!
Virtus trained and finger printed
It is essential to be a strong communicator as well as compassionate listener. Lesson plans are required each week. Please include written references with a cover letter and resume. Send to jctestacross@gmail.com
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
