Responsibilities:
- Teach all core subjects including religion, language arts, math, science, and social studies
- Develop lessons that integrate writing and reading across all content areas.
- Create a classroom culture that promotes kindness, responsibility, and a love for learning
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with parents
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide events
- Incorporate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and classroom life

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
- Master’s Degree and/or teaching credential (or currently enrolled in a credential program)
- Experience teaching in an elementary classroom preferred
- Experience and knowledge of instructional strategies for reading and writing
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
