Description: Catholics should be able to talk about both racism and abortion without marginalizing either of these issues. In this conversation with nationally-recognized leader Gloria Purvis, participants will reflect on the animating principle of both movements — the dignity and respect of the human person — and discuss the commonality of the attacks both movements face — dehumanization, misrepresentation, and fear mongering. Participants will explore how the ministries in the Church can and should work together to build a Civilization of Love.
