CBI Bible Talks Series

2027 Saturday Morning Bible Talks:

The Church Prays the Psalms

The Church has a long and beautiful tradition of praying the Psalms. To celebrate the introduction of our new Psalter translation, the Catholic Bible Institute in collaboration with the Catholic Biblical Association of America brings you this Bible Talks series exploring the beauty of these prayers in their many dimensions. We will talk about what the Psalms reveal to us about God and ourselves; the ritual celebration they articulate; how the Psalms point to the body, the Church, gifted to us by Christ; the living Spirit that penetrates our hearts and minds; and the beautiful monastic chant of these divinely inspired songs.

We hope you will be with us for Saturday mornings of learning and prayer.

All presentations are via Zoom 9-10:30am Pacific Time.
