Blessing of the Animals

The Blessing of the Animals has been a part of Olvera Street since its founding in 1930. The Placita Church invites you to a Blessing of the Animals event (rain or shine) on Saturday, April 4 from 12pm-4pm.
Schedule is as follows:
- Entertainment from 12pm-4pm.
- Line to receive blessing begins at 1pm (in front of the Pico House)
- Archbishop Jose Gomez offers a blessing to animals present from 2pm-3pm.
