Isaac Cuevas of OneLife LA recently joined John Morales on Morning Air to discuss the mission of the OneLife movement and how Catholics in the Los Angeles area can take part in this year’s event on January 24, 2026. Their conversation placed OneLife LA within a significant week for the pro-life moment across the nation, as Catholics and people of good will prepare for the March for Life in Washington, D.C., the Walk for Life West Coast in San Francisco, and the annual OneLife gathering in Los Angeles.
This week also marks the 53rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide in 1973. While Roe was overturned in 2022, ending federally imposed abortion laws, the reality of state-sanctioned abortion remains. As Isaac explained, this moment in history calls for renewed clarity, charity, and commitment from Catholics who believe in the dignity of every human person.
OneLife LA stands out in a city known for its constant activity and endless events. Isaac noted that Los Angeles is not an easy place to capture attention, yet OneLife continues to do so through strong support, consistent leadership, and faithful participation. More importantly, the movement is not focused on spectacle but on formation. A central goal of OneLife is to educate participants on how they can best serve a culture of life in their own communities.
