Good Shepherd celebrates 95th anniversary
Good Shepherd Catholic School will commemorate its 95th anniversary, with several festivities during the weekend of Oct. 11-12. The celebration will kick off with an evening gala at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Saturday, Oct. 11, with food, drinks entertainment and live silent fundraising auctions.
The church will conduct a commemorative mass on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. After the mass, the school will host a gathering open to the public with numerous activities, games, performances and food trucks. Good Shepherd welcomes all community members, local businesses and surrounding parishes to join in the festivities.
Because many school alumni attended before the internet and email addresses existed, the school is looking for assistance in locating and reaching out to the alumni community.
