The Catholic Cemeteries & Mortuaries and the Archdiocese’s Office of Religious Education held a Virtual Día de los Muertos Prayer Vigil led by Archbishop José H. Gomez on Monday, November 1 at 7 p.m. in the outdoor courtyard of the Mausoleum of Calvary Cemetery and Mortuary in East L.A.

All Souls Day Mass 2021
On Tuesday, November 2, Archbishop Gomez celebrated virtual All Souls Day Mass that was live streamed at 10 a.m. on Facebook and broadcasted live via EWTN from Calvary Cemetery & Mortuary in East LA.
The virtual celebrations offered a unique opportunity for families to celebrate from home a Catholic tradition that unites faith, prayer and cultural heritage to honor the faithful departed.
