God Is in the Details

As we go about our days, perhaps fraught with too many things to do and not enough time to do them, we can sometimes feel very much alone, even when we are surrounded by friends and family. Deep down there is a hunger that cannot be fed by the things of this world. If we don’t take the time to reconnect with the Divine, it becomes easy to forget that we are God’s beloved, that even if “the mountains leave their place,” God’s love is with us always. Begin and end your day with God, even if it is just to say a quick thank you, and in between start to notice God in the details of your day. The Divine is everywhere.
