Mary bringing Christ to our hearts
“When we allow Mary to truly be our mother and invite her into our hearts, she will always point the way to her son, Jesus.”
Sister Maria Goretti, O.C.D., is originally from South Louisiana and entered the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles in 2010 after graduating from Louisiana State University in 2009 with a degree in Mass Communication: Public Relations and Business. Sister professed her Perpetual Vows as a Carmelite Sister in 2019 and has served in a variety of roles in her community’s apostolates including marketing and development for two of the Sisters’ healthcare centers. In 2018, she was called to serve in the Vocation Office and is currently serving as Vocation Directress.
