Southern California Christian Forum

The Southern California Christian Forum (SCCF), formerly the Southern California Ecumenical Council, is the only uniquely ecumenical organization in our area. It provides opportunities for broadening encounters among the followers of Christ, assisting the Church in all of its expressions to live out the call of unity expressed in John 17, “That they may all be one.”

The SCCF carries out its mission with regular Forum meetings which include Scripture study, sharing, and prayer, and by sponsoring occasional ecumenical gatherings.

The SCCF also coordinates an Annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Service, conducting it in a different church each year.

Rt. Rev. Alexei Smith, Ecumenical and Interreligious Officer of the Archdiocese, currently serves as president of the Forum. Events are free and open to the public and everyone is welcome! Please contact the Forum directly for a list of upcoming events.
