North American Academy of Ecumenists

The North American Academy of Ecumenists is a community of ecumenical scholars and activists from a wide variety of Christian traditions across North America. It promotes scholarship, church life, and pastoral practice in the service of Christian Unity and brings together ecumenists, theologians, liturgists, graduate students, church officials, clergy, religious and laity actively pursuing Christian unity.

The Academy gathers at an annual conference arranged around presentations from leading theologians and ecclesiastics on the ecumenical issues of the day. The annual conference is open to all who are interested and involved in ecumenical work.

Academy membership is open to everyone interested in Christian Unity. Membership also provides a subscription to the prestigious Journal of Ecumenical Studies in which the annual conference papers are published.
