San Gabriel Valley bishop offers a blessing at West Covina hospital
Fr. Brian Nunes, auxiliary bishop for the San Gabriel Pastoral Region of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, paid a visit on Wednesday, Aug. 28, to Emanate Health Queen of the Valley Hospital, to bless a site that will become part of its healthcare delivery infrastructure.
Nunes, the highest-ranking Roman Catholic priest stationed in the San Gabriel Valley for the L.A. Archdiocese, blessed the construction of the West Covina hospital’s new emergency department and intensive care units, and toured the new Emanate Health Medical Pavilion, neonatal intensive care unit and hospital units.
A Mass was also celebrated.
