Requisitos de Licencia Música

Parishes and Schools need to be aware of copyright requirements when it comes to music, whether it is for livestreaming of masses or prayer services, publishing worship aids in print or on-line or, when we are able to gather again in community, via video screen projection. This is done by obtaining a license through One License who represents over 300 music publishers. It is important to obtain a license for legal protection and as a way to compensate music composers for their gifts and creativity.

Music Licensing Requirements for Livestream Masses Beginning April 16, 2020. If your parish is livestreaming masses with music and you don’t already have a license to do so, your parish will need to obtain one. One License has just released a new Streaming Only license beginning April 16, 2020 which allows parishes to stream music from their member publishers during your recorded and livestreamed masses on a variety of virtual platforms such as You Tube, Zoom, Facebook, Vimeo, etc. See this helpful article which provides more details about options at One License.
