San Gabriel Mission High School (SGMHS) is a college-preparatory Catholic high school located on the historic grounds of the San Gabriel Mission. Our faith-driven community provides a safe environment for young women to grow as spiritual, intellectual, creative, and athletic leaders. SGMHS is seeking a committed individual for the Track/Field Coach Position in our Track/Field and Cross Country Programs. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, knowledge of track/cross country fundamentals, and have competed at the high school and/or college. Prior coaching experience at the elementary or high school level is a plus. The individual would work to build the Track program this 2025 season in the hopes that this candidate will also lead the Cross Country program for the 2025-2026 school year. Track season runs from Winter through – April.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of track/cross country fundamentals
- Played at the high school and/or college
- Prior coaching experience at the elementary and/or high school level is a plus.
- Once hired, individuals should possess Virtus, Play Like a Champion, and First/Aid CPR certification as well as fingerprinting with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
Compensation: Stipend of $2000.00 depending on experience.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
