World Day of the Sick Mass & Anointing

The Order of Malta invites you to a bilingual (English/Spanish) Mass & Anointing of the Sick in observance of World Day of the Sick 2024 and The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. Before the Mass, we invite you to pray the Rosary at 12pm. Through anointing, the grace of the Holy Spirit comforts and strengthens the soul of the sick person.
His Excellency Archbishop Jose H. Gomez will preside at the Mass and anointing.
Mass will include:
- Anointing of the Sick
- Blessing of Caregiver Hands
- Blessing with Lourdes Water

La Orden de Malta los invita a la Misa bilingüe (Inglés y Español) de sanación y unción del Día Mundial de los Enfermos como celebración del Día Mundial de los Enfermos 2024 y la Fiesta de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes el sábado 10 de febrero a las 12:30p.m. en la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de los Angeles. También están invitados a el Rosario a las 12pm. A través de la unción, la gracia del Espíritu Santo consuela y fortalece el alma del enfermo.
Su Excelencia el Arzobispo José H. Gómez presidirá la Misa y la unción.
La Misa incluíra:
- Unción de los Enfermos
- Bendición de las manos de los que procuran cuidado a los Enfermos
- Bendición con Agua de Lourdes
