Sanctitas

What is Sanctitas? The word literally means holiness, moral purity, virtue, or inviolability.

Sanctitas is a ministry created to make Jesus available to young adults at monthly adoration nights accompanied by time for confession and fellowship to follow. This is a collaborative effort of the Vocation Office, Regional Offices and the Franciscans of the Poor of Jesus Christ. These adoration nights consist of silence with Jesus, music for worship, meditation, and an examination of conscience. The mission is to inspire Holiness and give guidance for those attending to find and live out their specific vocation. The priests present are also being renewed in their vocation during this prayer time in adoration. It is a beautiful time to encounter Jesus and let Him transform his people to be more like Him in Sanctity and Holiness. All are welcome to come adore, worship, and receive at these special evenings of adoration and to fellowship with others after this sacred time.

Vocation Prayer

Heavenly Father, we ask you to pour fourth your Holy Spirit upon your Church inspiring many young people to pursue holiness through lives of union with your Son, Jesus Christ.

Help all gathered here tonight to discern their vocation clearly with prudence and like Mary respond with total trust, confidence, and generosity to your will for their lives.

Call forth among us many holy priests, consecrated men and women, husbands & wives, and those committed to living apostolic celibacy.

Grant us the virtues of humility, fidelity, purity, chastity and perseverance needed to live out this call to be His disciples.

Mary, Queen of all saints, and Joseph, protector of the Church, please pray for us and draw us ever deeper into the love of your Son, Jesus Christ.

In Whose holy name we pray. Amen.
