Description
St. Mark School (Venice) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate for a teacher’s assistant/aide and temporary TK teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.
The role would begin as a teacher’s aide at the start of the school year working with our TK and Kinder classrooms, then become a maternity leave coverage from late fall until the beginning of the new calendar year. Once the TK teacher returns from maternity, the role would return to the teacher aide role.
Requirements
Requirements:The ideal candidates will be committed to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering spiritual, social and emotional growth, and teaching the whole child. The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and uphold the values and teachings of the Catholic faith. Candidates should also have experience in developing weekly lesson plans and grading assessments to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Additional requirements: Virtus Certified; Live Scan through ADLA; TB Neg. Test Result; Catechetical Certification (preferable)

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
