Description
St. Joseph School, Pomona, is seeking an instructional aide for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate must be able to assist the homeroom teachers with small groups, STAR testing, classroom activities, assist during classroom lessons, and supervise children both in the classroom and on the playground. The ideal instructional aide must work collaboratively with teachers, staff and administration for the academic betterment of the students. It is imperative that this candidate have a positive mindset, is a good Catholic role model and is highly energetic.
Requirements
• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Must be Bilingual (Spanish./English) and have some experience working with young children in educational settings
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
