Saint Genevieve High school is looking for a dynamic, hard-working educator to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment based on Gospel values that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. We are seeking a dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong background in social studies.
Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required
- Teaching certification/license recommended
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting recommended

Requirements

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
