Description
Part-time or Full Time PE Instructor: Grade K-3 and/or 6-8
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate is expected to have an understanding of and ability to instruct students in physical
education skills and build up to incorporating these skills into activities and games. Must be able to
effectively manage a class of students.
The position begins August 2024.
Responsibilities include:
-Prepare and teach P.E. lessons for grades K-3 rd and/or 6 th -8th
-Supervise and manage students’ behavior
-Maintain appropriate discipline and decorum
-Implement age appropriate activities and monitor safety throughout
-Maintain student records
-Maintain, manage and organize PE equipment and materials
Requirements
-VIRTUS certification
-Employee will be fingerprinted
-Experience working with youth
-Experience in teaching PE, coaching, and/or athletics
