Description
Immaculate Conception School is seeking an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic Junior High (Religion & Social Studies) teacher. The candidates must have knowledge creating lessons that align with Common Core State and Archdiocesan Standards, and who can integrate technology into the classroom. This teacher will work collaboratively and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, staff and administration for the
academic betterment of the students.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in History, Theology, or other related field (Master’s Degree a plus}
- Experience in the junior high classroom setting.
- Understands educating students with diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
- Is knowledgeable about best practices in education.
- Is a team player and demonstrates successful collaboration with teachers/staff and parents.
- Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
