St. Lawrence of Brindisi Catholic school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Instructional Aide to support our After School Program. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to a nurturing environment that fosters both academic growth and spiritual development.
Position: Instructional Aide – After School Program
Location: St. Lawrence Of Brindisi Catholic School, Los Angeles, CA
Hours: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Start Date: Tuesday, September 3rd
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with homework and academic activities in a supportive and encouraging manner.
- Lead and supervise engaging enrichment activities, including arts and crafts, sports, and educational games.
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that aligns with our Catholic values and promotes respect and teamwork.
- Support and collaborate with classroom teachers and program coordinators to address individual student needs.
- Ensure a safe and orderly environment for all participants.
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree in education or a related field is a plus.
- Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine commitment to supporting our Catholic mission and values.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
