Description
Corpus Christi School in Pacific Palisades, California is looking for a full-time self-contained classroom Fifth Grade Teacher, for the 2024-2025 school year. We are seeking an energetic, experienced and creative teacher, who is able to effectively engage the students, plan and implement engaging standards-based lesson plans, and is digitally competent. The candidate must maintain appropriate ongoing written and verbal communication with parents, students, and faculty as needed. The ideal candidate will promote the values and morals as prescribed by the Catholic Faith.
Requirements
Minimum-Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited university, and have previous classroom teaching/management experience. Ideally-Possess a teaching credential and/or Master’s from an accredited university (or be currently enrolled in a Master’s and/or credential program). The candidate also needs to be Catholic, have the capability to implement technology in support of the curriculum, and to exemplify the mission of Corpus Christi School.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
