St. Paul the Apostle School is seeking its next principal. The successful candidate will assume the position on July 1, 2025.

St. Paul the Apostle School has a 100% acceptance rate of 8th graders in Catholic High Schools and 41Legacy Families. Since its founding, St. Paul’s has expanded from its original 6 classrooms to the current 22, which include a science lab, library/media center, choir/music rooms, early literacy lab, art studio, and
athletic gym. The school has 2 homerooms for each grade, offering a rigorous education of the whole person, helping prepare students for success in high school, college, and life.

The motto for St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Community is “Wherever you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here,” and the school accepts a variety of students from different backgrounds, not only those who are already baptized. The guiding School Learning Expectations (S.L.E.’s) that St. Paul’s instills in its

Requirements

● Practicing Catholic;
● Minimum 5 years of teaching experience OR 3 years working at a Non-Profit organization in a leadership role. Earned Master’s Degree in Education or related field OR State Approved Teaching Credential;
● Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking skills;
● Financial acumen;
● Commitment to ongoing professional growth through reading, classes, workshops, conferences, etc.;
● Ability to articulate an educational vision that incorporates the best aspects of Catholic education;
● Experience with various leadership strategies when dealing with parents, boards and alumni.

Wage Range

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
