Saint Bridget of Sweden School and Parish have served the Balboa Lake community for over 65 years. St. Bridget of Sweden School, recognizing that parents are the primary educators and teachers are facilitators of learning, provides an atmosphere conducive to the maximum development of all students, enabling them to become well-integrated individuals with Catholic principles, values and attitudes who are capable of living their lives according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a TK-8 school that provides a faith-filled and caring environment in which our professional skills, personal talents, and the example of our lives will enable our students to grow in the following ways: spiritually, intellectually, socially, psychologically, physically, technologically, ecologically, and culturally. - Ensures that students are seen as people whose intellectual growth is harmonized with spiritual, religious, emotional, and social growth.
- Develops, implements, and oversees academic, co-curricular, faith-formation, and service/ministry programs to educate the whole child.
Requirements
- Practicing Catholic
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience OR 3 years working at a non-profit organization in a leadership role.
- Earned Master’s Degree OR State Approved Teaching Credential
- Catechetical Certification to be completed by the first two years of leadership.
SALARY/BENEFITS
Salary commensurate with education and experience. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles offers health benefits including medical, dental, and vision and all employees are enrolled in pension benefits from the time of employment and considered vested after five years of full-time employment.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
