Description
The ELA Teacher will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and effective English language arts and literature lessons to students in grades 6-8. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing students with the best possible learning experience. The candidate should feel comfortable with their Catholic teachings as those are embedded into the environment throughout the day.
Requirements
The candidate must have earned a Bachelor’s Degree and Single Subject Credential. It is preferred that the candidate has had previous experience within the classroom environment and has developed classroom management skills.
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
