Because all Archdiocesan employees represent the Roman Catholic Church, they are expected to conduct themselves according to the goals and mission of the Church in performing their work.

The School Bookkeeper will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be a self starter who will anticipate beyond a checklist, and have strong technology skills. A friendly, organized, and detail-oriented self-starter in our front office.

1. Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
2. Prioritize and manage time well and keep systems organized (Timesheets, Employee Paid Time-Off, etc)
3. Multi-task and think flexibly in a fast moving environment
4. Possess strong clerical skills (Typing, copies, scanning, etc., as well as hospitality, filing, and archiving)
5. Utilize discretion when handling confidential documents and information, mail, and messages.
6. Demonstrate strong people skills by working well with students, parents, and faculty members with a positive attitude and growth mindset.
7. Meet with School Staff weekly to review agendas

Essential Job Functions
1. Oversee: Collection of yearly fees, Student activities, CYO fees, Drama fees, Fundraising, Service hours, PTO, etc.
2. FACTS Tuition Management: Preparing and managing of parent accounts throughout the school year.
3. Quickbooks Account Management (including monthly reconciliation)
4. Maintain and process school employee time sheets
5. Budget keeping and year-end reconciliation


1. Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping/accounting experience
2. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
3. Ability to be a learner and a self starter
4. Technology skills and ability to problem solve

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
